Knights News · Boys Soccer sets sights on return trip to Indy

This year’s team will be lead by the seven seniors and eleven juniors as the Knights attempt to return to Indianapolis after a one year hiatus.  We add in one sophomore and 4 freshmen.
Coach Householter, entering his 22nd season, would like to continue the success of last season with only losing 2 games, but have lost a number of seniors from last season’s roster, Alex Rodela, Junior Ontiveros, Oscar Tavarez, and last year’s NIC MVP Jonathan Tavarez.  All four of these young men are now playing at Bethel College.
The boys’ success this season will depend on the leadership and experience provided by the upperclassmen.  How well the freshmen mature and develop and how the players moving up from last years junior varsity develop and fit into new roles.
“We look forward to the new challenges of the schedule and the reclassified NIC.”  adds Householter
